Live Tango Orchestras

Watching, listening, and especially dancing to live Tango music can be a very special and unique experience, especially when the musicians interact with each other. The energy is contagious, making Tango dancers feel more vibrant.

Where to see live orchestras

Live orchestras perform almost daily at different Milongas. See the Hoy Milonga website then search for the following:

  • Events with star icon or “Hay un evento especial” – this means that the event has something special – usually exhibition performances and sometimes a live band
  • “Música en vivo” (live music)
  • Click on the Facebook or Instagram link to see the flyer for the event’s details

Each orchestra will also list the dates and locations of their upcoming performances on their Facebook pages.
